Featured Bride: Lauren Tyree wears Jorge Manuel's 'The Patineur ' Gown from the Poete Collection 2013

We must begin this blog entry by stating that this is not a professional modeling shoot for an editorial in a fashion magazine. Although it could have very much been one! Meet Lauren and her husband DJ, an actual JORGE MANUEL bride and her groom, who wed at the BACARA RESORT AND SPA in Santa Barbara. This gorgeous couple tied the knot amongst friends and family on a beautiful sunny day surrounded by a sea of stunning and personal details. JORGE MANUEL met Lauren and her family at a trunk show. She was indecisive between two styles and the difficult part for Lauren, in her dress journey, was choosing just one dress; because both JORGE MANUEL gowns looked and fit equally gorgeous. "I knew Lauren would make a beautiful bride. She ultimately chose the PATINEUR gown from the POETE COLLECTION 2013 because it brought how she envisioned herself to life," recalls the designer. Featured Bride: Dina wears Jorge Manuel's 'The Hadid ' Gown from the Rococo Collection 2012

We were so thrilled to get the images from Hawley from Once Like A Spark photography of Dina and Shawn's wedding. Dina glowed in her Jorge Manuel gown and the details of the event were stunning! Dina purchased the gown at the WHITE DRESS in Corona Del Mar at a trunk show the designer was present. "I recall she is a twin and I had such an amazing time with them and the family at her appointment. When Dina came out in the HADID gown from my Rococo Collection 2012 I just knew it. WE all did. The connection between the bride and dress was so present that onlookers at the store couldn't help but to also stare, " recalls Jorge Manuel. The Wedding was held in August at the San Diego Botanic Gardens, and the setting for this gown and this bride could not have been any more perfect. Featured Bride: Janelle Hernandez Pagan wears Jorge Manuel's 'The Bootes ' Gown from the Nebula Collection 2011

When you work in the bridal industry as a wedding photographer (http://photographybyjhp.com/) and are exposed to weekly weddings like Janelle Hernandez is, the task of shopping for your own 'big day' dress can be a challenge. Especially when you are  a bride with a discriminating style. Janelle knew her wedding had to be "organic, yet simple." The vision of the dress took various forms before she finally chose "the one" that satisfied her chic taste. The dress selection in itself became a journey that would create an even more meaningful bond with the person who helped through it...her mom. 

Janelle Hernandez Pagan visited the JORGE MANUEL STUDIO in Miami, Florida when shopping for the 'Mother of the Bride' dress. She had initially purchased a different dress for her big day, so changing her mind on the wedding dress never crossed her mind. Little did she know that fortune had a special dress just for her. She was getting married on the beach and wanted something "that soft, but with structure." 

"I remember when I saw her in 'the Bootes,' she radiated in it and truly made the dress look beautiful. It was a perfect symbiotic chemistry between both. I knew in that instant she had found her dress. There was no question that she would "wow" her groom and her guests on the big day." recalls Jorge Manuel.
